An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Executive to join a dynamic B2B Events & Exhibition organiser in the center of Barcelona. Through understanding the market, you will be responsible to input sales propositions for each exhibitor category. You will use this knowledge to enable sales to prospect exhibitors either face to face or through telephone. You will develop the commercial activity with potential Exhibitors and Sponsors of our Events.

Functions:

  • Face to face sales meetings
  • Work with the Event Manager to design a sales plan
  • Pre-agenda of Meetings, telesales and manage the CRM.
  • Maintain data base System with calls and meetings mades
  • Identify new potential exhibitors via research web, other shows, magazines, social media...
  • Keep and draw floorplans up to date
  • Re-bookings
  • Manage Customer Relationships

Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have sales experience in the B2B sector: trade shows, trade press, consulting, advertising, etc
  • You will have a willingness and ability to sell, excellent telephone manner, exceptional customer service skills, negociation skills, proactive and communicate effectively with people across many diferent industries and levels of seniority.
  • Entrepreneur and business development experience.
  • Higher education, MBA or equivalent.
  • High level of English, essential.

Soft-skills:

  • Dynamic and ambitious, with an innate entrepreneurial spirit
  • Commercial instinct
  • Passion for sales
  • Driving licence B
  • Availability to travel

Requirements:

  • Studies: Diplomate or Graduate. Higher education, MBA or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in sales field.
  • The ideal candidate will have sales experience in the B2B sector: trade shows, trade press, consulting, advertising, etc.
  • You will have a willingness and ability to sell, excellent telephone manner, exceptional customer service skills, negotiation skills, proactive and communicate effectively with people across many different industries and levels of seniority.
  • Entrepreneur and business development experience.
  • High level of English, essential.
