For one of our clients that offers products and services in the renewable energy sector, with a specific focus in the photovoltaic space, we are currently recruiting IT Technician (DeVops). With more than 10 years’ experience, company has consolidated its position as the independent leader in management, monitoring and control of renewable energy installations with more than 17.5GW globally managed and more than 3,000 solar facilities worldwide.

Primary Responsibilities
System technician Size, purchase and set up servers and network devices for Scada systems

Duties May Include:

Create and evolve automated scripts (bash or powershell)
Set up virtualized environments
Analyze performance
Participate in projects where network engineering or network security is needed
Implement network configurations
Perform pen tests and assess about security risks
Provide technical support about infrastructure
Diagnose network issues

Position Qualifications:
Linux or Microsoft Windows Server administration expertise
Network professional
Experience in security assessment
Good communication skills, including the ability to write clear and accurate reports in English
Enthusiasm and self-motivation, including a willingness to develop and enjoy taking challenges and responsibilities
Customer centricity and business development experience

Preffered Qualifications:
Experience within the renewable energy industry or renewable energy taught course modules, including knowledge of how wind and photovoltaic plants work
Linux certification (LPIC2)
Network certification (CCNP or similar)
CISP
